Parents Of Abducted Girls Alert Public On Fraudsters

Parents of the abducted students of Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno state on Sunday alerted the general public on activities of some imposters using their names to scam corporate bodies and Nigerians.

On April 14, 2014 more than 200 students of the school were abducted by the Islamist terror group Boko Haram  while writing their final examination.  The Chairman of the association of parents of the abducted girls,Yakubu Maina, revealed this at a news conference in Maiduguri. Maina said the call was necessary because the group had turned the agitation for the release the girls into a scam.

The secretary of the association, Lawan Zanna, lamented that the imposters often deceived some parents into attending their functions only to be scammed.
