Boko Haram Behead Three In Cameroon’s Village, Kill Four In Another Raid


Security forces disclosed on Monday, July 27, that Boko Haram insurgents beheaded three villagers in a weekend raid in Cameroon.

Four other people were murdered in a separate attack on the next day, AFP reports. The militants decapitated three people in Tchebe-Tchebe and and set ablaze property in the village, including a catholic church.The information was confirmed by a local security source who explained that it was hard for the military to access the mountainous terrain.


A gendarmerie official, who pleaded for anonymity, narrated about another attack which left four people dead: Boko Haram attacked the town of Afade around one in the morning (Monday).”

Meanwhile Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, announced yesterday that Muhammadu Buhari would head to Cameroon on Wednesday to meet President Paul Biya over Boko Haram insurgency. The meeting was said to have been scheduled in June, however the Nigerian leader was invited to the G7 summit.
