Late Bobbi Kristina who passed on earlier in the week is set to be buried amidst talks of a rancor in her immediate family, according to various sources. Bobbi was found motionless in her Roswell, Georgia home on Saturday January 31, 2015. She was put in a medically-induced coma for almost six months afterwards.
She deteriorated from that point, never fully regaining consciousness till she was officially declared dead by authorities on Sunday, July 26. People.com reports that preliminary tests on her have revealed she didn’t sustain major injuries of any kind, but further laboratory tests are expected in the coming weeks.
A statement from the Houston family rep reads;
“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July 26, 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”Kristina’s funeral is set for Saturday August 1, 2015 in Atlanta but sources say plans for this have stalled owing to divergent views in the family.Both sides of her family are finding it hard to reach an amicable decision in respect to laying the 22-year-old aspiring singer to rest. She is expected to be buried next to her mother, Whitney Houston, in New Jersey after a funeral in Atlanta.
According to Billboard.com, Kristina is expected to be buried at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey on August 3, the exact same place her mother, Whitney, was laid to rest.
