ISIS said in its statement that the abducted men come from Nigeria, Egypt and Ghana. The passport posted on the Internet indicated that Nigerian’s name is Ibrahim Adeola; his date of birth is May 24, 1979; he was born in Imo state.

The Punch reports that the Nigerian was abducted by the ISIS along with a Ghanaian, Kofi Sekyere and an Egyptian, Bekhit Ebeid.

According to a resident, who pleaded for anonymity, the abduction took place in Noufliyah, an ISIS stronghold southeast of the city of Sirte. Mohamed El Hejazi, a military spokesperson loyal to the internationally recognized government based in the east, also stated the abduction happened in the small town.
ISIS is known to always kill its hostages usually by beheading them.A week ago, the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram has released its first video of a beheading since it pledged allegiance to ISIS. The new video adopted many stylistic features of the hundreds of barbaric videos released by ISIS over the year.
