HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO AKWA IBOM STATE
Akwa Ibom - Akwa Ibom State has declared Wednesday a work-free day to enable the public commemorate the 28th anniversary of the state’s creation.
Governor Udom Emmanuel confirmed the holiday through spokesman, Aniekan Umanah, came out to urge the people of the state to turn out en masse. “In commemoration of the 28th anniversary of the creation of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, the Governor Udom Emmanuel has declared Wednesday, 23rd September, 2015 as a work free day in the State.
Accordingly, citizens and residents are requested to come out en-masse and join in the celebration of this historic moment,” Umanah said.
