Should Culture Accept Divorce In Nigeria?

Happy sunday folks and welcome to the weirdest of them all, the anomaly in the society. And i'm going to start this article with the blunt-est question of them all.. "would you as a Nigerian man marry a woman that is divorced or widowed?" and i mean first marriage.

Half of you will deceive us with all that "if i love her, why not?" Answer, but we are not buying that today. Keep that lie for some other writer. Lol

Before answering call your mum
(i would especially prefer igbo for this one) and play the prank on her with that question and meet your ancestors 24hrs later (if your mum is a slow killer. Lol).

Why are we hiding behind culture and tradition?. Yesterday i evesdropped a lady chatting her married friend outside the club and heard words like "Your husband beat you again?", "he de mad?" "You no wan leave that man abi till you die?". Well it doesn't take an annoited man to tell you whats going on, and trust me, this woman will still be stucked with that man, by choice!.

This ofcourse is just one of numerous cases in This country where the women are victims in relationships and yet are the ones taking the hits. Most of them have the excuse of, "Na my husband" lol giving the men the excuse they need at the same time.

These are complications tied back to culture, if you leave your husband's house, where you wan go? Haha.

Well we should start replicating the western lifestyles where women build their own empire, dictates their relationships and are extremely independent, though rome was not built in a day, infact it is still under construction. Lol.

This was just a food for thought. You can tell what you think in that comment box below.
Have a beautiful day lovlies.
