While accepting the award for Best Hip-Hop video, Nicki Minaj made it a point to call out the emcee of the event in Los Angeles for some comments she had made just days later.

The 32-year-old rapper hit out at Miley toward the end of her speech as she said: 'And now back to this b**** that had a lot to say to me in the press. What's good?'

There was commotion on Sunday at the United Methodist Church, Mafoluku, in the Oshodi area of Lagos as members of the church chased away their pasto for allegedly impregnating his housemaid.

It was learnt that the pastor, Barkuma Andrew, was stopped from leading the church seven months ago when the housemaid, who was also a member of the church, Grace, had complications after aborting the pregnancy.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) through its provincial headquarters on Lagos Island has cancelled a three-day outdoor crusade of one its parishes.

The cancellation came after the criticism that followed the invitation of the Fuji musician Wasiu Alabi Pasuma as a guest artist for the crusade. According to the owner of the goat, Omar, this is the third delivery by the mother goat, and the others are normal. “The goat has given birth twice before to normal twins. However, when it came to the third delivery, I was shocked to see the kid having six legs and the reproductive organ located beneath the legs. It uses the same organ to pass both urine and excrement,” Omar said.

Choc City rapper, Ice Prince and newly married Nollywood actress, Osas Ighodaro have been unveiled as the hosts for the 10th edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA).

Ten members of the Islamist militant group Boko Haram were sentenced to death in Chad on Thursday, August 27. The BBC reports that after a 3-day trial the 10 were found guilty of terrorism by a court in the capital N’Djamena.

N’Djamena, which is situated less than 100 kilometres from the Nigerian border, was hit by a series of suicide bombings in June and July, 2015.

More details have emerged about the tragedy in Kaduna in which a military helicopter with seven people on board crashed on Saturday, August 29. The Nigeria Air Force (NAF) aircraft, which was heading to Abuja, crashed 10 minutes after take-off in the morning.

According to The Nation, a military source disclosed: “Being a military crash, the details will not be released until a technical appraisal is done. The families of those who died had been contacted.” However, a witness who observed the development narrated:

The Sango Koso is the highest and the head of all the Sangos in the world. He is equivalent to a king. In Oyo Empire, it believes that if there is no Sango, there is no Alaafin, if there is no Alaafin there is no Oyo. Each successive Alaafin can see other Sangos except Sango Koso. It is said that the Alaafin cannot bow for anyone king including Sango Koso and Sango Koso cannot bow for Alaafin. On the arrival of this Sango, the Alaafin by tradition is expected to retire to his chamber as the two cannot reign at the same time.
