Gao Bingguo, who has kept bees for over 35 years, decided to cover himself in 109,1kg of flying insects to break the previous record of 85.5kg. The process started with Gao stripping to his pants, then a number of queen bees were placed on his body to attract the other bees.

During his badass performance the man was smoking a cigarette, while bees was swarming over his body, eventually he ended up covered in an estimated 1.1 million bees. By the end of the day Gao was stung over 2,000 times and body temperature rose to over 60C, making him to take a bath afterwards to soothe the stings.

Gao was crowned as the new world champion for most bees on a human body on May 25, 2015.
