In a recent interview with DZRPT Breakfast Club, Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda shared her opinion on domestic violence which has become one of the main causes of broken homes.
According to the actress, “no matter how a woman might provoke a man, the man has no right to raise his hands on the woman but simply walk away.”
“Violence should not be accepted in any kind of union,” she added.
The screen diva further revealed that her family had to support her to divorce her husband because of the domestic violence that trailed her matrimonial home.According to the actress, “no matter how a woman might provoke a man, the man has no right to raise his hands on the woman but simply walk away.”

In her words: “My family supported me and remember when the violence started, I did not get anybody involved. I wanted to sort it out myself so when it continued for years, I had to let my family know this is the decision I want to take, that I want to leave and they were asking why and I told them the incidents that has happened in the past and they said oh, okay, you have to leave.”
Any man can't beat his wife without any raison most often some ladies disrespect their husbands when they say one these ladies reply more also their husband have hot temper or they are not more patience to convince these ones.Most of our ladies run to share their marriage issues to everyone so the bad advisers don't give the right advices that turns into to the break focus the both also don't care about their children if they have......... Here's my view point.....

DeleteIt is well in Jesus Name.It is an abomination for a man to raise his hand talk of using his hand to slap his wife. But you need to forgive him even if he has done it. Always be on your knees for your husband and also your family. There is no perfect husband and a perfect wife. You have to make him what you want through the help of God. "By strength shall no man prevail". The heart of a king is in the hands of God, He turns it to any direction he wants. "Patience is a virtue" Exercise patience live the battle for God to fights. It is not your battle. God will fight for you and you will hold your peace.
ReplyDeleteShe stayed for years. He didnt change. How many times does she have to forgive? I lost my sister coz of domestic violence bcoz she thought he will change. Well guess wat , he didnt.

ReplyDeleteOnly someone who hasn't lived though domestic violence would talk about taking him back. i have lived through it ,like Monalisa did i stay wanting to fix the marriage,thinking he will change ,they never do . you become enslaved with fear ,your self confidence dies .it affects the children as well. i dont support divorce but God never meant the institute of marriage to be slavery for anyone male or female
ReplyDeleteViolence against wifes & women generally is in my opinion an act of cowardice and a reflection of high level of irresponsibility.Any Husband that hits his wife is not only irresponsible/foolish but also a coward. Men should imbibe the culture of dealing with women with courtesy displaying a high level of sense of Maturity. Will you as a man consider yourself wise when in compound of about 4 flats with other married residents, It is only in your flat that neighbors usually gather to separate fight between you and your wife?
