Rapper The Game calls out Madonna, Jimmy Fallon over $10,000 donations

West Coast rapper, The Game, has called out pop legend, Madonna and American comedian, Jimmy Fallon, for donating only $10,000 to victims of the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, USA.

Game, who had promised to donate $1m in water bottles to the victims, an estimate of 8000 kids suffering from brain damage following their ingesting the led infected water, went on to show proof of his donation.

The father-of-3 who has a personal stake in the situation, as his sister as well as her family lives in Flint, called out Madonna and Fallon, saying that they could do better than $10,000.

He posted a photo of the receipt for the donation on his instagram page, commenting:

"I seen @Madonna & @JimmyFallon's $10,000 donations... that's cute, but not nearly enough.... So I challenge both & anyone else in the world to match me & DONATE $1,000,000 in bottled water to Flint, Michigan & we want proof, shipping order receipts, bank wire receipts, pictures etc........... No more pretending to give a fuck..... I donate money all the time & it comes out of my pocket & never once have I written anything off on my taxes because that's not why I do it !!!!!!!! So, if any other celebrity wants to MATCH MY MILLION here's the site where you can donate

Speaking on the reason for the call out, the rapper explained:

“I called ‘em out and then I didn’t call ‘em out.

“The only reason I mentioned Madonna and Fallon is I follow Madonna on Twitter and saw it on my feed, and I saw, ‘Ten-thousand dollars.’ Madonna? Come on, man. She’s paid it forward her whole life though, adopting kids and donating money. But specifically to the water crisis in Flint, we can do better than $10,000. It takes about nine bottles per person per day to bathe and drink, so $10,000 contributes, but they could’ve done a lot more.”

The rapper went on to add that:

“What Meek did was very generous, and that’s great. But what I want celebrities to do is to stop saying, ‘I pledge water.’ There are people who get up every morning and say they pledge allegiance to the flag, but don’t really honor it. Talk is cheap. So I posted a picture of my wire transfer and I’ll post pictures of the water going into Flint every day until it’s done—not to brag, but to speak to the people who actually want to fix the problem.”

The Game is well known for his charitable spirit, proof of which is his charity foundation, The Robinhood Project.

We hope many more are moved to help relieve the issues the victoims based in Flint will be facing for the next few days until the situation is fixed.
