Throwing Nollywood into another mood of mourning, the young Nollywood actor who played the lead role in Foluke Daramola-Salako’s movie, Cobweb died few hours ago in Lagos.
Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola-Salako who could not bear the demise of her young actor took to her Instagram handle posting a picture of the boy with the caption: “Death! Where is your string? Olamide David, my lead character in Cobweb, why does it have to be now? Why why why?”
However, a family member revealed that on Sunday, January 17, Olamide was playing football with his friends when he was mistakenly kicked in the stomach by another player. He fell to the ground and subsequently complained pains.
Olamide David was then rushed to Ikeja General Hospital, Lagos where he gave up the ghost.
The young Nollywood actor bagged the award for best kid actor at the 2015, BON awards held in Akure.
