50 years after, Ralph Lauren CEO steps down.

Globally acclaimed fashion designer, Ralph Lauren has stepped down as the CEO of the clothing line he started almost 50 years ago. Ralph who turns 76 on October 14, 2015 named the President of Old navy, Stefan Larsson as the new CEO while he moves on as the board Chairman.

The Ralph Lauren Corporation was founded in 1967 in New York. The company initially debuted with designing of neck ties but started its now globally famous polo shirts in 1981.

 It has 23,000 employees with subsidiaries worldwide. Before being named the new CEO of RL Corporation, Stefan Larsson worked as the global president of Old Navy, a subsidiary of GAP. He holds an MBA from the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration..
