Mysterious Deaths: Dog Meat Kills Five People In Rivers

Tragedy struck in River state  as five persons mysteriously died after eating dog meat from a popular inn at Woji, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.

According to Vanguard report, the dog meat was allegedly cooked by Friday Dickson, popularly called Etiaba.   Etiaba was said to have been running the inn at Mini-Woji road, Woji town, where cooks only dog meat.



Speaking on the matter, Mr Brain Ogbondah, a member of the community said the five people were confirmed dead some hours after eating the dog meat.


He stated that the council of chiefs and elders had called an emergency meeting in order to locate other people in the community who also ate the dog meat.

Ogbondah added that the suspect fled the community after the five people were confirmed dead.

The tragic incident has mounted tension in the community as the people are wondering what really happened.
